Curious if anyone else has attempted a 500g roast on the MCR-3D? My old 600g "sample" roaster is fidgety and unreliable, so I attempted to roast a 500g sample on my MCR-3D. After 3 attempts, I managed to get a somewhat normal roast curve. I increased my drum speed from 42 up to 60, initially lowered my fan speed, but ended up bringing it back up to around my usual setting, and lowered my charge temp to about 395 ET.

It was obviously a very fast roast. I hit G/Y a bit before 4:00, 1st Crack at 370, and dropped 8:30. If anyone else is interested, I will let you know how the cupping goes, but if anyone else has tried this and had good luck, please let me know. Would love to consistently use this for my samples.
