black line on roast
What is the black line on the roast screen? Blue, Red, Green are listed. If it is showing the rate of rise, what does it mean when the line goes down?

The black line is indeed the rate of rise. When your rate of rise is decreasing the rate at which your bean temperature is rising is slowing down.
Ok. I think I understand. The yellow box showing rate of rise changes throughout roast. That lets us know what the ROR is at that particular moment.
