How do you save "Cupping Notes" in the Green Coffee section?
I get my beans from Cafe Imports and love that I can enter the ID number into the Green section and import all the info Cafe Imports has on a bean however I am running into an issue when I go into edit a bean in this section, all the way down at the bottom is a "Suppliers Cupping Notes" section and under that is another "notes section" that I can enter all my cupping notes into but once I hit save and go back it actually never saves any of my notes. Can this be fixed? We would love to add our cupping notes here.
Hi @TreyBrooks ,
Thank you for identifying this issue. If you are having this issue in the App, I have 2 suggestions to get your Notes to save with a Green added by RPID.
- I assume you are toggling the RPID "Yes I Have It" off after hitting search to be able to edit in the Notes section. I recommend not toggling it back on before you save. So, enter the RPID and hit search. Then toggle "Yes I have It" off to be able to add your own Notes. Then hit save.
- If the first option still does not work, I recommend using the RoastPATH Website to Add/Edit your green notes.
I hope this helps.
Thanks Krasten but I am not toggling "Yes I Have it" and I am also using the roast path actual website and still no luck. I've actually notice that most notes section (at least for us) does not actually save notes. For example, if I just throw some green coffee in my machine and roast it and hit the button off the the right of the screen that looks like a coffee bean it'll ask me Profile name, weight of batch, and has a notes section there as well but it never saves any info there either.
Oh, okay. I am sorry to hear that Trey. I'm sending you an email with a link to schedule a meeting with support to help investigate these issues.
