PID Vs BT
I am curious who here drops based off of BT probe and who drops based on PID Temp. I have noticed there can be quite a variance between the two from roast to roast. My judgement is telling me that BT would be more of a consistent temp to target a profile you're trying to match again and again. Any experienced roasters with wisdom for a newbie?
Preheat via the PID display and discharge your coffee at the BT finish temp.
