Pre-Blend in Cooling Tray?
Is this something that's fine to do, or should it be avoided given green coffee sensitivity and the dust left behind in the cooling tray?
We blended green coffees in the 20kg cooling tray for years, vacuuming and wiping it down after.
Not a big deal there.
The bigger question is why? Are you packaging green blends or preblending for storage or production efficiency?
I'm preblending mostly for production efficiency. As a bonus it helps with backend inventory tracking and auditing and setting Shopify stock counts.
