Scales

I know this is one of the most standard equipment parts needed. I have been using a small scale the cj4000? to weigh out my green coffee. But when I start to fill 5lb bags this scale does not go the heigh in weight. So, I have to do 40oz twice. What is the recommend scale for weighing out green coffee and for filling 5lb bags in a roastery.

We used the cj4000 for a long time with the same issue. We found one from "MyWeigh" (model KD8000) from a kitchen supply store in town that works well for this purpose. Now if only someone would make a 5# bean scoop... We can just get by filling the RW Kilo scoop to the brim to fit 5 pounds in, but it would be nice to have a little extra breathing room.

We use the 2.25 quart Rubbermaid Pitchers. They hold 3k of beans and work on our CJ4000 scale.
